Learn the move before you load it

1 week agoEdited to

... Read moreStarting your fitness journey can be overwhelming, especially when tempted to lift heavy weights too soon. From my own experience, focusing on perfecting your exercise form before increasing the load is crucial not only for preventing injuries but also for building lasting confidence. When I first began training, I realized the real challenge wasn’t about how much weight I could lift but about mastering each movement slowly and deliberately. This approach aligns with the principle of "Learn the move before you load it," which means taking your time to understand the mechanics of exercises like squats, deadlifts, and presses. One thing I found helpful was slowing down the tempo during workouts. By doing this, I could pinpoint areas where my form faltered and correct them with less risk. Over time, not only did my strength improve, but my body awareness and control skyrocketed. Motivation also plays an essential role. Training consistently helped me notice small positive changes like improved posture and better skin care habits, which kept me engaged and proud of my progress. Remember, missing sessions doesn’t mean failure; it’s just the start of getting back on track. Supplements like protein powder and creatine can support your diet, but they won’t fix poor eating habits. Real, balanced meals packed with enough protein remain the foundation of fitness gains. Lastly, the gym environment is less judgmental than you might think. Most regulars are focused on their own progress, making it a supportive space for beginners to learn confidently without ego lifting. Prioritize form, be patient with yourself, and your fitness journey will be sustainable and rewarding.

Must have books to learn manipulation
I’ll be real—before reading these books, I thought manipulation was just something villains did in movies. Turns out, we’re ALL being manipulated daily, whether it’s by ads, politicians, or even our own friends (yikes) 😬 After reading these, I felt lowkey enlightened and slightly paranoid 🤯 But
