And my Dr says I don’t have it like bruhhhh I got alll that fkn symptoms 😂 I keep having facial hair and all that crap

I'm 61 y/o, and when I was very young, I was very chubby, and my periods were never on time and mostly nonexistent. At that time, there was no such thing as PCOS, so the doctors would all tell me the same thing..."Just lose some weight, and your periods will come back on there own".Little did they know my parents had me on 2 protein shakes and 1 meal a day since I was about 8 years old, maybe even younger. Nothing ever seemed to work. Even if I took some weight off, it would always return and usually bring a few extra pounds with it. I was always very muscular and capable of handling most anything a boy my age could do and sometimes even better. The facial hair has been THE worst for me. Between bleaching, nairing, waxing, plucking, shaving, and now laser hair removal, it has been a very painful, expensive, and exhausting endeavor. I went through fertility meds along with taking my temp so the MD could advise me when it was best to have intercourse and not always able to reach each other. The whole thing was a nightmare. we finally gave up. Fortunately, I had a child from a previous relationship, which he adopted, and he raised her as his own. He is a wonderful man, a great father, we are lucky to have him in our lives. I see all these posts and all the information you are all able to exchange and help one another with, and all I can say is "bravo." I wish I had had such terrific help when I was younger.. God bless you ALL for making sure that more people are aware of this curse and how we are affected by it. My daughter also has the condition and has had several issues with her pregnancies and her health. I hope the people who need to get information find their way to you guys. I intend to put something on my page to refer anyone who needs the info.
