Chocolate Chip Scones🍫

2 1/2 cup of flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 Tbsp baking powder

3/4 tsp salt

8 Tbsp very cold butter (grated or cubed)

1 egg

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup mini chocolate chips

-Preheat oven to 425 degrees

-Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

-Cut frozen butter into pea sized cubes.

-Whisk egg and heavy cream. Add gradually to flour mixture until it sticks together. Do not over mix.

-Gently stir in chocolate chips.

-divide dough in half. Shape into circles then cut into 6 triangles.

-Place on parchment paper on baking sheet.

-Brush on either cream or egg wash on scones.

-Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom.
