🍕 Yeast Side

Known for their sourdough pizzas with a satisfying chew, Yeastside has grown and and progressively proved to be more than just a pizza spot with their varied menu items.
The Truffle Shroooms Pizza ($21) was our favourite, with a balanced truffle flavour that didn’t overpower the mushrooms. The Mr. Crabs Focaccia ($18) was generously filled with crab but nothing too memorable.
For the sides, the Mentaiko Fries ($16) were pretty much what you’d expect. We preferred the Let’s Caulihummus ($16), with its creamy fragrant hummus paired with their warm chewy bread.
The sourdough pizza may have stolen the show, but what makes Yeastside worth revisiting is that there’s so much more beyond it with their focaccias, sides and even their house craft beers which we’d love to try one day. It’s an easy place to gather, drink and linger.
Having visited Yeastside multiple times across their locations at Serangoon Gardens, King Albert Park, Farrer Park, and Somerset, I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem for pizza lovers looking for something beyond the usual. The sourdough crust is impressively chewy with a crisp edge, making every bite satisfying. My favorite remains the Truffle Shroooms Pizza— it perfectly balances the earthiness of mushrooms with a subtle truffle aroma that doesn’t overpower. It’s the kind of pizza that invites you to eat slowly and savor each slice. I’ve also tried the Mr. Crabs Focaccia on several occasions; while it’s packed with crab, I personally felt it lacked a stronger flavor punch to make it unforgettable. When it comes to sides, the Mentaiko Fries deliver on expectation—crispy fries with a creamy, slightly spicy kick, ideal for sharing. However, Let’s Caulihummus stands out with its smooth, fragrant hummus that pairs wonderfully with the warm, chewy bread, making it both filling and flavorful. One of the draws I appreciate about Yeastside is their offer of house craft beers, which complement the food beautifully. Though I haven’t tried them yet, I’m eager to pair their pizzas and focaccias with these brews on my next visit. Overall, Yeastside isn’t just a pizza spot; it’s a welcoming place to gather with friends or family, enjoy unique food offerings, and linger over drinks in a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or a visitor hunting for quality sourdough pizza with creative sides and drinks, this place deserves a spot on your food map in Singapore.
