Film review: The shadow's edge
When I saw the example of the shadow's edge, I wanted to see it a lot. But what I wanted to see was... The movie has a concentration of content. The action is fun. The drama is full. The more Chen Long is the main actor with the new generation of actors, the more fun and interesting. 🫶
Because the movie has a clear opening that the group of villains under the care of the main villain, like Father Boon, which is an interesting opening scene, the main police group of the story can't be caught, 😖 even though the AI technology has helped, but the movie clearly shows that "the villains are very good," so that they rely on the former good cop like "Wong" to set up an ad hoc team to complete the mission. The point of preference is that Chen Long's ad hoc group is interesting, presented with a good 20-30 minutes of the movie, a mission of being a spy, and a win. Excited. During the search for answers and getting close to the boss villain, you have to get the most important information.
"Very good, excited, mixed with the drama that makes us tear up the characters." So we saw some fun action sequences. Cubu, including the battle style of the shadow's edge, is a close-quarters battle. It's fun. Every scene can be picked up as a weapon. The characters in the movie are good. But the distribution of the script is good, leaving the weight for the characters to play the right role. There are jokes inserted in the rhythm, but it doesn't make Chen get lost with the main villain boss. The ending is particularly intense. It's an action scene with all kinds of drama. The visual work of the holistic movie is good. 🎉
🤔 point to notice is... In the middle of the story, when the movie enters the picture of the mission, it's fun, but the movie itself puts the story of the past of the characters into it, so sometimes the movie sneaks a little late, especially the teenage villains who open the story to look good. Unfortunately, the movie chooses to focus on the characters and other content until the villains that Father Merit has made to raise the script to fade away. And at the end, throw the heroine into inaction.
