In our daily lives, there are quirky little habits that many of us do but seldom confess. For instance, I often find myself opening snack packages the moment I get home, even if I’m not hungry. It’s like a comfort ritual. Another classic? Taking quick 'mirroring' moments just to check how you look from an unusual angle—especially when using a facial mirror. It’s something so common but often goes unspoken. Also, have you ever caught yourself rehearsing what to say in social situations, like mentally practicing comebacks during conversations or replays of past events? I do this often when I’m trying to dodge awkward questions or prepare for a close elevator ride with strangers—these little mental exercises help me feel more confident. One habit I enjoy but rarely admit is slipping into comfy clothes quickly after a long day. It’s a small act of self-care that makes a big difference in how relaxed I feel. These little behaviors show how uniquely human we are, juggling comfort, confidence, and social ease in subtle ways. Sharing these habits helps us connect and realize that everyone has their own little “secret” routines.

My boyfriend and I have something called our VAULT. It’s not an actual physical vault, but a mental vault! Basically, when we tell each other something is “vaulted” or “goes in the vault,” that means that it does NOT leave the relationship. For example, I have a LOT of vaulted embarrassing stories.

things I WISH I KNEW before I got my OWN PLACE 🤯💐🏡
Having an apartment on your own can be hard and cause a lot of nervous and anxious thoughts. For me, I thought it had to be “perfect”- that if I had an apartment it had to be an “aesthetic” in every aspect right off the bat. But the reality is that if you’re working full time to support yourself, y
