I don’t know who need to hear this but..
This is the definition of INSANITY according to Albert Einstein & it is often a result of being stuck in a cycle of doing the same thing over and over or a HABIT LOOP.
Some things I’m doing to pivot the choices I’m making that don’t align with my fitness/ health goals—————————✨
⭐️ PAUSE and take time to think through what it is your about to do.
⭐️DELETE food apps and unsubscribe from them in my emails.
⭐️ TURN OFF notifications from those pesky food apps .
⭐️ FIND new hobbies especially if you snack all day like me 😝
Feel free to share what helps you 💭💭

When trying to break out of unhealthy habit loops, it’s vital to create an environment that supports your goals. From personal experience, I’ve found that the act of pausing before eating or snacking drastically improves my decision-making. Taking even 30 seconds to ask myself if this snack serves my goals helps me avoid mindless eating. Another helpful tactic is managing digital temptations. Food delivery apps are incredibly convenient but often trigger unnecessary snacking and spending. Deleting these apps and unsubscribing from their promotional emails reduces impulsive behavior. Turning off notifications keeps distractions at bay, allowing me to focus on my planned meals and fitness routine. Redirecting my attention to new, engaging activities also makes a big difference. When boredom fuels my snacking, I pick up hobbies like journaling, walking outdoors, or trying simple home workouts. These alternatives satisfy my need for stimulation and reduce mindless eating. The key is consistency and self-compassion. Habit change doesn’t happen overnight, but by patiently making mindful choices and modifying your environment, you can successfully pivot towards healthier living. Don’t hesitate to share your effective strategies and support others in their journey too!
