It’s not a keloid nd its not from aftercare it keeps getting TUGGED AND PULLED … if yall got tips on that i would glady appreciate it 😬

3/30 Edited to

... Read moreFrom personal experience, dealing with skin that keeps getting tugged and pulled can be frustrating, especially when you're trying to heal without causing scars or irritation. One of the best approaches I've found is to protect the area with soft, breathable dressings or bandages that cushion the skin from daily movement or accidental pulls. Choosing clothing with gentle, non-abrasive fabrics around the sensitive spot can also minimize irritation. Additionally, moisturization plays a key role. Applying a fragrance-free, hydrating ointment or cream can keep the skin supple, decreasing the chances it will snag or pull. It's important to avoid tight accessories or jewelry near the healing skin and to be mindful during activities that could unintentionally tug at the area. Sometimes, underlying habits such as scratching or adjusting the skin unconsciously worsen the problem. Identifying and consciously stopping these can help speed up recovery. If the tugging is due to scarring or thickened tissue, consulting a dermatologist might provide specialized treatments like silicone sheets or massage therapy that reduce skin tension. Keeping your healing skin protected, moisturized, and free from mechanical stress is essential in preventing further damage and ensuring better overall skin recovery.
