Best brownies ever made with a few of ingredients!

Day 8 of 12 days of Comfort - Fudgy Brownies 🤎🍫

Listen, I’m no baker and they may be on the thinner side BUT they’re PERFECT! Probably the best Fudgy brownie I’ve ever had frfr! And truth be told I appreciate a thinner brownie. Thicker brownies can be a little too sweet. But these are just perfect! Dense, moist, & delicious 🤎 and you only need a few ingredients.

Fudge Brownies

Yield: 9 large brownies

Bake Temp: 325°F

Pan: 8×8 metal pan (lined)

Ingredients

• 10 tbsp unsalted butter

• 6 oz dark chocolate (60–70%), chopped

• ¾ cup granulated sugar

• ½ cup packed brown sugar

• 2 large eggs, room temp

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• ½ tsp fine salt

• ½ cup all-purpose flour (level, not packed)

Method (Technique Matters More Than Steps)

1️⃣ In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together until smooth and glossy. Let cool 2–3 minutes so it’s warm, not hot.

2️⃣ Whisk both sugars into the warm chocolate mixture until fully dissolved and shiny. This step is key for that thin, glossy crust.

3️⃣ Add Eggs — Gently. Whisk in eggs one at a time, just until blended.

Add vanilla and salt. Do not beat or aerate — no air = no cake.

4️⃣ Fold in flour with a spatula until just combined. Stop as soon as you don’t see dry streaks.

5️⃣ Bake Low & Slow. Pour batter into pan and smooth top.

Bake 22–26 minutes at 325°F.

Pull when:

• Edges are set

• Center looks slightly soft and underdone

• Toothpick = thick, moist crumbs

6️⃣ Cool Completely. Let brownies cool fully in the pan.

They will firm up and turn ultra fudgy as they set.
