What you consume is important 🍋

I love spending time cooking healthy breakfast meals and Meditating on Gods word in the morning. Spending time with God while I enjoy my chicory root, veggies and eggs is an important part of my daily routine. I make super health yet delicious meals that fuel my body throughout the day. Protein and vegetables are key to a healthy diet. I don’t like using the word diet often, most diets don’t last. It’s really more about what you’re consuming and sticking to a healthy routine. In the beginning of my health journey, I didn’t think I’d be able to eat much of anything. Everything seemed so bad for my body which left me with a short list of foods to consume. Mainly veggies and foods filled with protein. I thought I would get tired of eating the same thing everyday. Turns out there are 100s of different ways to cook the same food. Sometimes you just have to use your imagination and if that gets overwhelming buy a cook book. One that doesn’t use ingredients like gluten, refined sugars, oils that are bad for you, high carbs, saturated fats, processed foods, canned foods, or ingredients you can’t pronounce.

I have many healthy recipes I use daily. I make everything from scratch, meal prep, and enjoy what I eat now without feeling guilty #embracevulnerability #lemon8challenge #health #healthylifestyle #healthfoods #foodie #cooking #healthylifestyle2024 #homemade

... Read moreStarting your day with a nutritious breakfast is essential for overall health. Foods high in protein, like eggs and vegetables, provide energy and sustain your metabolism. Consider incorporating foods like sautéed zucchini, tomatoes, and bell peppers, as they can enhance your meals significantly. Avoiding refined sugars and processed foods is crucial. Opt for natural ingredients and meal prep to save time and ensure you always have healthy options at hand. This not only supports your health goals but allows you to enjoy delicious meals guilt-free. Remember, consistency is key. Chicory root is a great alternative to coffee, offering a caffeine-free drink that supports your immune system while helping to detoxify your body. Finding ways to enjoy your food and sticking to healthy routines will make your wellness journey enjoyable and sustainable.
