❌4/10 ~ It pains me to say that I did not like this product at all! I LOVE Benefit's brow products, but this wax did not do it for me. The product itself if white, not clear, so sometimes the white shows up in my brows. My brows also don't stay in place very well. They fall and then it's difficult to brush them back up without making a mess of my brow pencil underneath. This also dried out really fast! I didn't reach for it that often, but the last time I tried using it I couldn't get any product out. #productreview#september#empties#emptiesreview#makeup

... Read moreHey everyone! So, you might be thinking about getting your brows done at a Benefit Brow Bar, maybe even specifically the one at Peter Jones, or perhaps you're just curious about Benefit's brow offerings. I totally get it – Benefit is legendary for brows, and their brow services are super popular. I wanted to share my two cents, especially after trying one of their products, the Benefit Fluff Up Brow Wax, and what I've learned about balancing product use with professional services.
First off, let's talk about the Benefit Brow Bar experience. If you're looking for 'Benefit Brow Bar Peter Jones,' you're likely after a professional touch-up, right? Benefit Brow Bars are fantastic for getting expert brow mapping, waxing, tinting, and even lamination. They really know their stuff, and a great brow artist can totally transform your face. I always recommend booking an appointment, especially at popular locations like Peter Jones, to avoid disappointment. When you go, be clear about the look you want – fluffy, defined, natural – and don't be afraid to ask questions about maintenance. They often recommend products to keep your brows looking salon-perfect.
This leads me to why I wanted to share my thoughts on the Benefit Fluff Up Brow Wax. Like many of you, I'm always on the hunt for that perfect product to maintain my brows between appointments, or to achieve that 'fluffy' look at home. I grabbed a silver tube of Benefit Fluff Up Brow Wax with high hopes, thinking it would be a game-changer. I mean, it's Benefit, their brow pencils and gels are usually spot on! But, honestly, this one fell short for me. The wax itself wasn't clear; it had a slight white tint, which sometimes showed up in my brows, especially if I layered it. And the hold? Not great at all. My brows would fall throughout the day, and trying to brush them back up just made a mess with my brow pencil underneath. Plus, it dried out super fast, which was a real disappointment for the price point. Seeing the product name and brand clearly visible on the tube in my empties pile just reminds me it wasn't the win I hoped for.
So, while I adore Benefit's brow services and many of their other products, my experience with the Fluff Up Brow Wax was a bit of a letdown. It made me realize that even from a beloved brand, not every product will be a perfect fit for everyone. If you're visiting the Benefit Brow Bar at Peter Jones or any other location, definitely ask your brow artist for recommendations tailored to your brow type and desired look. They might suggest other gels or waxes that offer a better hold or a truly invisible finish. And remember, sometimes the best way to maintain those perfectly sculpted brows from the salon is a combination of the right technique and carefully chosen products. Don't be afraid to experiment, but also don't feel pressured to love every product from a brand, even if their services are top-notch!
