September Empties with Product Reviews ~ 32/32
❌ 0/10 ~ I have a mini and I did not finish it! This is suooosed to be used daily before skin prep to gently exfoliate your face. Instead, this completely destroyed my skin barrier! I broke out so bad after only using this a few days. It burns and makes my skin feel super tight. I did not like this at all and had to stop using it. #empties #productempties#productreviews #didnotfinish #september
Many skincare enthusiasts look for exfoliating tonics like the REN Clean Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic because they promise glowing skin through gentle daily use. However, it's essential to understand how active ingredients such as AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) can affect different skin types, especially sensitive or barrier-compromised skin. AHAs work by gently dissolving dead skin cells and encouraging cell turnover, but overuse or high concentrations can lead to irritation, redness, and a weakened skin barrier. This can cause symptoms like burning sensations, tightness, and breakouts, as stated in the review. When using products like this tonic, it is often recommended to start slowly, using it only a few times a week, and to monitor your skin's response closely. Additionally, protecting the skin with broad-spectrum sunscreen is crucial because AHAs can increase sensitivity to sun exposure. For those who experience adverse effects, discontinuing use and opting for more hydrating and barrier-repairing skincare can help restore skin health. Ingredients such as ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid are beneficial for supporting the skin barrier. Before fully committing to daily exfoliating tonics, patch testing and consulting a dermatologist are recommended, especially if you have sensitive or reactive skin. Ultimately, while products like the Ready Steady Glow tonic can offer impressive radiance benefits to many users, individual skin tolerance varies significantly, underscoring the importance of personalized skincare choices.
