October Empties with Reviews - part 21/45
❌6/10 ~ These are the Mighty Patch Invisible+ Daytime Pimple Patches. I received this in my Allure Beauty Box and only received 6 patches. I am not a huge fan of these. They do work, but I feel like I need to keep applying them multiple days in a row for them to actually get rid of my acne spots. This pack only came with 6 patches too, I definitely need more of them. The PanOxyl ones are my all time favorite so I will continue to purchase those ones (plus they're cheaper). These ones are good in a pinch, but for long term use I would not buy these.

Building on my review of the Mighty Patch Invisible+ Daytime Pimple Patches, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why they might work for some, but not for me as a long-term solution. The promise of an 'invisibly thin' patch for daytime wear is definitely appealing, especially when you have an unexpected breakout and still need to head out. I found that they do indeed lie quite flat on the skin, and with careful application, they can be pretty discreet – though I wouldn't say totally invisible, especially under bright lights or if you apply makeup directly over them. My experience was that while they adhered well initially, their gunk-absorbing power felt a bit slower compared to other hydrocolloid patches I’ve used. The package claims 6-8 hours, and I definitely felt like I needed the full duration, and sometimes even a second patch the next day, to see significant reduction in my pimples. This is where my preference for PanOxyl really comes in. PanOxyl patches, in my experience, tend to extract more effectively and often flatten a breakout faster, which means I go through fewer patches. For anyone considering the Mighty Patch Invisible+ for a quick, discreet fix before an event, they could be a good 'in a pinch' option. They are drug-free, which is great for sensitive skin, and the concept of a daytime patch that absorbs pimple gunk is fantastic. However, just remember, they come in smaller packs, so if you're like me and deal with frequent breakouts, the cost can add up quickly if you need multiple applications. I always recommend having both a reliable daytime and a powerful nighttime patch in your routine, but for overall effectiveness and value, I'm still loyal to my PanOxyl hydrocolloid patches. They've just consistently proven to be my go-to for battling those stubborn spots and delivering results quicker than the 6-8 hour timeframe I felt I needed with the Mighty Patch Invisible+.

Totally feel you on the patch count! 6 is not enough for a real breakout, gotta save those for emergencies.
