A few more easy ghost rule outs! #phas #phasmaphobiagame #phasmo #phasmaphobiaclips #phasmophobia
Okay, Phasmophobia fam, let's talk about those tricky ghosts that just love to mess with our heads! Ruling out a ghost quickly can be the difference between a smooth investigation and a terrifying death. I've had so many frustrating hunts where I was convinced it was one ghost, only to be totally wrong. But over time, I've picked up some instant rule-out methods, especially for the elusive Jinn and the active Oni, which I wanted to share with you all! First up, the Jinn. This ghost type can be a real pain, primarily because of its speed when hunting, especially if the breaker is on. The biggest giveaway for a Jinn, which the game sometimes hints at (and my OCR even picked up on, saying 'CAN'T TURN OFF THE BREAKER'), is its interaction with the fuse box. A Jinn cannot turn off the breaker itself. If you walk into a house and the breaker is already off, and then suddenly it comes back on, that's a huge Jinn clue! As the OCR mentioned, 'IT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT A JINN' if it turns off the breaker. However, if the breaker is on, a Jinn can speed up during a hunt if it has a direct line of sight to you and the breaker is providing power. So, if you're experiencing super-fast hunts and the breaker is still on, start suspecting a Jinn! They also give EMF Level 5, so keep that in mind as well. My personal strategy? I always check the breaker first thing. If it's off, I leave it off for a while to see if the ghost turns it on. If it does, Jinn is back on the suspect list! Now, for the Oni. These guys are known for being incredibly active, which ironically can sometimes make them harder to pin down because they mimic other active ghosts. The OCR mentioned 'Ghosts during hunts or events,' and that's exactly where the Oni shines (or, well, frightens!). An Oni loves to throw objects around, causing a lot of paranormal sounds. If you're constantly hearing things being thrown or seeing items fly across rooms, especially during ghost events, the Oni is a strong possibility. Unlike some myths, Onis don't drain your sanity faster just by being present, but their constant activity can certainly make you feel like your sanity is plummeting! Evidence-wise, they often give Ghost Orbs, Spirit Box responses, and Freezing Temperatures. A key thing to remember is that an Oni is rarely shy. If you's not getting much activity, it's probably not an Oni. I've had games where an Oni was so active I almost couldn't get my equipment down without something flying at me! Beyond these specific behaviors, always remember to 'Capture Media' as the OCR suggests. Taking pictures of things like Ghost Writing, a Burned Crucifix, or even a ghost event can give you crucial hints and extra cash. Don't forget your Incense ā it's a lifesaver for preventing hunts and can give you precious seconds to gather more evidence or make a quick getaway. Pay close attention to subtle clues like 'Doors and objects moving' and 'Lights flickering'. Every little detail helps in Phasmophobia. So, next time you's facing a tough investigation, keep these Jinn and Oni rule-out tips in mind. They've saved my skin more times than I can count! What are your go-to rule-outs for these tricky spirits?
