✨Best✨ milk tea in CHINA

Go and try Ah Ma Homemade if you’re visiting China 🇨🇳 and you will be blownnnn away by how all their handmade and natural ingredients come together to form a unique blend of taste you will NEVER get in Singapore 😌

📍Address: People’s Square Raffles City, Huangpu District, Shanghai

We walked in and staff chimed in cohesion “Welcome home” in mandarin, very aligned to the idea of Ah Ma home, the sense of homely-ness. 🤗

🫶 MUST TRY: Da Mi Mashi

slightly pricier than other milk tea in China, at SGD6, but for handcrafted mochi and interesting tea bases, go give it a try!

... Read moreHaving tried numerous milk tea spots across China, I can confidently say that Ah Ma Handmade stands out, especially for those who appreciate artisanal touches and authentic flavors. The shop uses only fresh, organic ingredients, as seen in their signature Sri Lankan Buffalo Tea and sticky rice-based mochi, which add delightful textures and a unique taste. The staff’s warm greeting “Welcome home” in Mandarin sets a cozy tone, reflecting their commitment to delivering a homey experience. The meticulous process—from steaming to pounding to boiling—ensures every cup captures the traditional essence of homemade flavors. If you're wondering about visiting other locations beyond Shanghai, Ah Ma Handmade has expanded thoughtfully, including spots like Guangzhou and Hong Kong, maintaining quality and taste. When in Shanghai, be sure to explore their latest menus and seasonal specials, as their offerings occasionally update to showcase new artisan creations. In addition to the must-try Da Mi Mashi drink, I highly recommend exploring their natural tea bases like fresh green mango ice tea for a refreshing twist. The price point might be a bit higher than typical milk teas, but the handcrafted ingredients and authentic taste justify the splurge. For fellow travelers and food lovers, Ah Ma Handmade is a gem delivering a memorable blend of authentic milk tea with artisanal care, highlighting China's rich culinary tradition. Don't miss out on this delightful treat during your visit!

Suzhou’s best bubble tea 三万昌 🧋
Highly recommend the 抹茶碧螺春奶茶, 50% sugar will be the perfect sweetness level. The milk tea itself isn’t very sweet and the sweetness generally comes from the green tea whipped cream. It was one of the more outstanding milk tea I’d tried in China (honestly most of them taste similar). #sanwanchan
