80% of my week is spent in my car!

Today was a long lecture day! And tomorrow is no different! I have SIMs and NG teaching labs tomorrow!! I’ll be on campus from 8-5pm and I’ll spend 1hr and 15 minutes going and 1hr and 35 minutes coming back(traffic) now multiple that by 3-4 days each week and then add my 45 minutes drive to work 2-3 days a week making me spend more time in my car then I do in my bed!! 😭😭😭😂 Good thing is it’s a comfy car!

How are all my nursing babes and guys doing????

... Read moreSpending 80% of my week in my car might be tough, but it’s a reality for many nursing students balancing lectures, labs, and work commitments. This demanding schedule not only tests your time management skills but also impacts your well-being. It’s important to find ways to make your drive more enjoyable. Consider creating a playlist or podcast list that keeps you entertained and engaged during those long hours on the road. Furthermore, staying healthy while on the go is crucial. Pack nutritious snacks and stay hydrated to maintain your energy levels throughout the day. Also, try to incorporate stretches and short breaks during your car rides when it's safe to do so, to keep your body from feeling stiff. Additionally, connecting with your peers via social media channels can make a big difference. Sharing experiences about your hectic schedule can provide support and foster community within nursing programs. Don’t forget to utilize hashtags like #nursingstudentlife and #rnstudent to join broader conversations. Lastly, remember that it’s okay to express your feelings about this lifestyle—your struggles and victories are valid parts of your journey in nursing.
