First three months of UGC Pay

7/4 Edited to

... Read moreStarting out as a UGC (User-Generated Content) creator can feel overwhelming, especially when the progress seems slow at first. During my initial three months, I faced ups and downs that taught me valuable lessons about patience, persistence, and purpose. At the beginning, I focused on building a strong portfolio by creating authentic videos featuring makeup, skincare products, and even hair routines. Updating my social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook helped me showcase my creativity and attract opportunities. For example, I used products like Torriden CELLMAZING masks and Beauty of Joseon serums in my starter videos, which gained attention and led to gifted collaborations. One of the toughest moments was when a major collaboration fell through due to the platform closing, and payment was delayed indefinitely. It was tempting to give up then, but reminding myself to keep faith helped me push forward. I continued pitching myself actively, developing a media kit, and engaging with brands authentically. By the end of the first month, I began receiving multiple partnerships and PR packages, including collaborations with clothing companies and affiliate programs such as Snack Superfoods Greens Gummies. Tracking my earnings showed a promising progression: from $0 in April to over $600 by June through various apps and direct brand partnerships. What I learned is that success in UGC is not just about fast results but consistent effort and trusting the timing. Creating content that resonates and converts requires ongoing learning and adapting, especially around appealing to brand audiences. For anyone starting, I recommend focusing on genuine product experiences, building a versatile portfolio, and maintaining open communication with potential partners. The journey may be slow, and the pay may start small, but growth happens when you combine your passion with patience. Keep creating; your breakthrough moment is worth it!
