Phase 1 Weigh In (day1)
Weigh in… yes I gained about a pound but I’m not gonna beat myself up especially since I know I can get back to 175 and stay at 175. I’m going to have my mindset of “I can get back to 175” and then continue where I left off before vacation with working on getting my body fat to 25%.
So first the body weight then the body fat. After that it’s just a maintain and tone journey.

Tracking your weight and body fat percentages regularly is a crucial step for anyone serious about their fitness journey. Seeing the number 176.4 pounds on the scale and a body fat percentage of 26.8% can feel discouraging after a vacation-induced gain, but it's important to remember that fluctuations are normal and part of the process. A realistic and positive mindset, like the goal of getting back to 175 pounds and 25% body fat, lays a strong foundation for success. Achieving a body fat percentage of 25% involves a combination of strategic nutrition, consistent exercise, and lifestyle adjustments. Focusing on maintaining a calorie deficit by combining healthy eating habits with workouts—especially those that include strength training and cardio—can help reduce fat while preserving muscle. Moreover, staying consistent is key; it is common to have days where the scale shows a slight increase, but perseverance leads to lasting changes. Beyond just the number on the scale, understanding your Body Mass Index (BMI), which here is 23.9, provides additional health insights. A BMI within the normal range supports lower risk for health issues related to overweight, yet body fat percentage offers a more detailed perspective on body composition. Using tools like smart scales that measure weight, BMI, and body fat percentage gives a detailed picture of your progress versus relying solely on weight alone. Mindset plays a vital role in weight loss motivation. Celebrating small victories, forgiving temporary setbacks, and reminding yourself of your end goal will keep you moving forward. Engaging with communities using hashtags like #weighinday, #losingtheweight, #mindset, #weightlossmotivation, and #Lemon8Diary can provide support, accountability, and inspiration from others on similar journeys. Remember, the journey doesn't end once you hit your target weight or body fat percentage. The next phase involves maintaining those results and toning your body to feel strong and confident. Setting incremental goals and tracking progress regularly can make this a sustainable and rewarding lifestyle change rather than a short-term fix.
