It’s easy..
Just bring the gym with you💪
This is one of my all time favorite workout spots. I’ve been to this part of Big Sur a couple of times and it might be the best view on the entire stretch of 101. It’s nice because Bixby Bridge takes a lot of the traffic away. No problems setting up the gym🫡
The is the most immaculate audio I’ve ever heard😂
Traveling often makes it challenging to maintain a consistent fitness routine, but bringing your gym with you is a game changer. I’ve found that setting up an outdoor gym in scenic locations not only keeps me motivated but also adds an element of adventure to workouts. Big Sur, especially around the Bixby Bridge area, offers a peaceful environment with fewer crowds, making it ideal for exercising outdoors. What I love most about using outdoor spaces for gym workouts is the fresh air and natural surroundings that energize your body and mind. You don’t need fancy equipment; a yoga mat, resistance bands, and some lightweight weights are enough to get a full-body workout done. The view of the coastline makes the effort worthwhile, and it turns a regular exercise session into an experience. Additionally, the question "How do you stay in shape when you travel?" frequently pops up during trips. My answer is always to pack portable fitness gear and scout for quiet spots like this scenic section of Big Sur where setting up a mini gym is hassle-free. Another benefit of exercising outdoors is the excellent audio environment—not just your playlist but the natural sounds around you—which can enhance focus and enjoyment. Whether it’s strength training, stretching, or cardio, combining exercise with nature’s beauty really boosts mental wellbeing and physical health during travels. So next time you are on the road, consider these tips to stay fit: prioritize locations with less traffic, bring compact workout gear, and choose scenic views for outdoor exercise. It’s an amazing way to keep consistent with fitness goals and enjoy the journey at the same time.
