There’s no clocking out; your brain stays on high alert to respond to every cry, question, and need. This overstimulation can lead to exhaustion, both physically and emotionally. I’ve found that carving out even small moments for self-care helps mitigate the constant sensory and emotional input. Whether it’s a few minutes of deep breathing, a quick walk outside, or a moment of mindfulness while the kids nap, these breaks recharge me, making it easier to handle the nonstop pace.
