Gym journey
Come join me I’m 209.8 needing to be at 190 to keep my a1c1 on the right level
Starting a gym journey to improve health, especially with the goal of managing A1C levels, takes commitment and consistency. I learned that keeping track of weekly weigh-ins helps me stay accountable and motivated. Weighing myself every Monday morning, right after using the bathroom and before eating or drinking, gives me the most accurate measurement to monitor progress. Using the same scale and similar clothing each time reduces fluctuations that can mess with motivation. Tracking weekly changes in weight, even small ones, helps identify patterns and adjust my workout and diet plans accordingly. Setting a realistic goal weight of 190 lbs, I focus not just on the number but on lowering my A1C to keep my blood sugar in check, which is vital for long-term health. Alongside gym workouts, I make sure to maintain a balanced diet to support my weight loss and blood sugar goals. It’s also encouraging to note that weekly check-ins help me celebrate small victories and stay driven. This journey has taught me the importance of patience and consistency. For those starting similar journeys, I recommend maintaining a detailed plan overview and notes on each week’s progress to identify what works best for your body and lifestyle.
