Nutella Cookies from scratch
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 chopped hazelnuts
- 1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
🍪 Into a large mixing bowl, add soften butter, and Nutella. Mix with a electric mixer until light in color
🍪 Add brown sugar, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, mix for 2 minutes.
🍪 Add the eggs, egg yolk, and mix until creamy. Add the flour, baking powder and mix.
🍪 Fold in chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips
🍪 Store dough in fridge for a out 30 minutes.
🍪 Use a cookie or ice cream scoop and (optional) roll the dough in chopped hazelnuts
🍪 Place the cookie dough onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake for 10 mins.
🍪 Melt hazelnut spread in a bowl and drizzle onto the cookies. Then bake for 5 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack.
