I used to grab those sugary versions from cafes, but I quickly realized I could create something even more delicious and genuinely good for me. This recipe quickly became one of my absolute favorite coconut milk drinks, proving that a healthy pink drink can also be incredibly satisfying. The beauty of making your own healthy pink drink is having complete control over the ingredients. Unlike some store-bought options that can be loaded with added sugars, my version focuses on natural sweetness and wholesome components. I start with a base of Ocean Spray White Cranberry Strawberry juice for that perfect fruity tang and vibrant color. It's already delicious on its own, but it really shines in this combo, giving that quintessential pink drink flavor. For that incredibly creamy texture that makes this drink so satisfying, sweetened coconut milk is my secret weapon. It provides a luxurious richness without being overly heavy, and it’s a fantastic dairy-free option. If you're wondering "is the pink drink healthy?", using controlled amounts of sweetened coconut milk (or even opting for unsweetened) helps manage sugar intake, making this a truly healthy pink drink recipe. And let's talk about the star of the show: freeze-dried strawberries. I usually grab a bag of Great Value Freeze Dried Strawberry Fruit Crisps because they're so handy. They rehydrate beautifully in the drink, giving you bursts of fresh strawberry flavor and a lovely texture. Plus, they contribute to that gorgeous pink hue and add a natural sweetness. Now, for an optional boost, I sometimes add about half a teaspoon of liquid green coffee bean extract. I find it gives me a gentle, sustained energy lift without the jitters, which is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. It's totally optional, though, so don't worry if you don't have it on hand – the drink is still fantastic without it. Making this pink drink is incredibly simple. Just combine the juice, coconut milk, and green coffee bean extract (if using) in a glass. Add your freeze-dried strawberries and plenty of ice. It’s such a versatile and refreshing addition to my everyday routine, proving that healthy can definitely be delicious and fun.
