🗺 How to make a world map emoji
1. Enter "1F5FA" in the text of Word or Outlook
2. Press "Alt + X" while selecting the entered character
3. Emoji on the world map 🗺 converted!

「1F5FAって何？」と気になって調べたら、これがUnicode（文字コード）だと知ってびっくりしました。Word/Outlookでは、この文字コードを“絵文字に変換するショートカット”が用意されていて、それがAlt+Xなんです。私は最初「世界地図 打ち方」「世界地図 キーボード」で探しても出てこなくて、結局“1f5fa alt x”でたどり着きました。 まずコツは、入力は半角で「1F5FA」。そのあと必ず文字列をドラッグして選択してからAlt+Xを押すこと。選択しないと変換されないことが多いです。変換後に元のコードへ戻したいときも、絵文字を選択してAlt+Xを押すと「1F5FA」に戻ります（戻せるのが地味に便利）。 次に「Word 地図記号 出し方」で探している人が混乱しやすい点。地図の“記号”といっても、①フォントの記号（挿入→記号）、②絵文字（🗺など）、③地図記号（コンビニ地図記号などの凡例アイコン）で別物です。今回の🗺は絵文字なので、Word/OutlookのAlt+X変換が相性◎です。 Excelで「1f5fa wordはできるのに、Excelはできない？」という疑問もよく出ます。私の環境ではExcelはAlt+X変換が効かないことが多く、いったんWord/Outlookで🗺にしてからコピペするのが早かったです。どうしてもExcelで入力したいときは、Windowsの絵文字パネル（Windowsキー＋.）から「地図」と検索して入れる方法も使っています。 Outlookメールで使う場合は、相手の環境によっては絵文字の見え方が変わることがあります（四角い□になったり、デザインが違ったり）。私は社内メールでは問題なかったけど、古い環境の相手だと表示が崩れたことがありました。大事な案内では、絵文字は補助的に使って、本文の情報が絵文字なしでも伝わるようにするのが安心です。 最後に、タイピングランド裏技を探している人へ。ゲームや入力練習サイトによっては絵文字入力が制限されていて、Alt+Xが効かないこともあります。その場合は、①いったんWordで🗺を作ってコピペ、②サイト側が許可していればWindowsの絵文字パネル、の順で試すと成功しやすかったです。
