Easy Meal Prep

I usually do my meal prep on Sunday. It takes about 1 hour to get everything prepped/cooked and put into containers. I make 5-6 meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Saturday and Sunday I don’t necessarily plan ahead for those days so I eat whatever I am feeling. Meal planning never works for me if I can’t eat something fun here and there.

My weekly budget for food is between $60-80 so I try my best to find cheap and easy meals that are also healthy.

Outside of each meal I do buy snacks that I can munch on when I need a little pick me up throughout a busy day. I also find my favorite drink and have it stocked for the week as well.

Overall, meal planning has saved me a lot of time and money and I always have a pre planned meal to look forward to each day. I would definitely recommend to fellow college students or anyone who wants to start meal prepping!
