43 mins of cleaning a day
I’ve found that dedicating just 43 minutes each day to cleaning can make a significant difference in keeping my home organized and comfortable. Breaking down tasks into manageable chunks helps me stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. For example, I start by making my bed in about 3 minutes, which instantly tidies my bedroom and sets a positive tone for the day. Next, I spend around 12 minutes putting away laundry, which keeps clothes from piling up and prevents clutter. Washing the dishes takes about 5 minutes, which I usually tackle right after meals to avoid a mess buildup. Taking care of plants is quick—only about 10 seconds—but it adds a refreshing touch of nature to my space. I then wipe down the counters in 2 minutes and tables in about 5 minutes, ensuring surfaces are clean and inviting. Finally, vacuuming takes approximately 15 minutes, which keeps floors spotless and reduces dust. By allocating specific time slots, cleaning becomes more efficient and less daunting. This routine has changed my approach to household chores, letting me enjoy a cleaner home with minimal daily effort and a greater sense of accomplishment.
