If you want a book that has similar vibes to Hunger Games and Divergent, this is a good choice. This was such a consuming read, I finished it in only a few days.
People are dropping left and right. Characters you care about and characters you love to hate - none of them are safe.
It was also nice to see a main character that wasn’t perfectly healthy. There were physical limitations holding her back, but Violet has her strengths. I think it does show a more accurate picture of having health issues and still needing to get creative with your solutions.
There’s romance, there’s betrayals, there’s a war going on. I think this will be a series that consumes me this year, and I’m so excited.
