Read more私が「時間が足りない…」と感じていた頃は、作業量が多いというより“時間を決めていない”ことが原因でした。やることリストはあるのに、いつやるかが曖昧。結果、着手が遅れたり、迷いが増えてマルチタスク化して、疲れて終わる…の繰り返し。 そこで意識したのが、記事内でも触れている「時間を決める」こと。私の場合は、タスクに“締切”ではなく“開始時間と終了時間”を付けるのが一番効きました。例:投稿作業は9:00〜10:00、執筆は10:30〜12:00、連絡返信は15:00〜15:20、みたいに短く区切る。終わらなかったら延長するのではなく、いったん次の枠へ移して、翌日に「続きの枠」を取り直すようにしました。これだけで「今日やるべきこと」が明確になって、焦りが減ります。 もう1つ良かったのは、前夜の“次やること決め”をさらに具体化すること。私は寝る前に、明日の最初のブロックでやる作業を1行でメモします(例:「導入だけ書く」「見出しを3つ作る」)。ポイントは、気合いが必要な目標ではなく、着手できる最小単位にすること。朝の迷いが消えて、スタートが軽くなりました。 また、「楽しみな予定を先に入れる」は、時間術というより人生設計にも近い感覚でした。大げさに聞こえるけど、仕事や職業の選び方って、結局は“どんな時間を増やしたいか”で決まると思います。私は、先に「自分が大事にしたい時間(読書・散歩・人と会う・休む)」を確保してから、残りに仕事を入れるようにしました。すると、選ぶ仕事の基準も「その時間を守れるか?」に変わって、無理な予定を入れにくくなります。 集中面では、家だとダラける日に図書館やカフェに行くのが本当に助けになりました。周りの目がある“見守り仕事時間”は、スマホ触りを減らせるし、ポモドーロ(25分集中+5分休憩)も回しやすい。最初は25分がきつければ、15分+3分でも十分です。 最後に、時間が足りない人ほど「段取りに時間をかける」は遠回りに見えて最短でした。今日のゴール、やらないこと、やる順番、使う資料…ここを最初に決めておくと、作業中の迷いが激減して、体感の“時間不足”が一気に薄まります。
