Ditch the box follow my steps instead
Step 1 - gather your supplies
Your box of nails will have everything you need to apply a perfect mani!
Pro tip: add the the application bundle for the best experience
Step 2- lay your nails out
Nail Dashes should fit your natural nails snugly without overlapping your skin or cuticles.
Here’s how they should fit properly:
Size Selection – Choose a dash that covers your natural nail completely from side to side but doesn’t extend onto your skin or cuticle. If you're between sizes, go with the smaller one for a more natural look.
Shape & Alignment – The nail dash should align with your natural nail shape. If needed, you can file the edges slightly for a better fit.
Cuticle Placement – The bottom of the nail dash should sit just above or lightly against your cuticle without pressing into it.
Step three- check your number
The size of your nail is on the top backside of your dash the number should be pointed away from your body. Otherwise your nail is upside down and it is more prone to pop off.
Step four- cuticle care
Not only do our nails have a visible cuticle, but they also have an invisible one too. It is important to remove both. This will prevent early pop offs if you don’t remove the buildup from the invisible cuticle, it will actually continue to grow underneath the dashes and make them pop off prematurely.
Step five- clean and sanitize
You want to be sure you’re working with clean hands and nails, be sure to properly sanitize your nails with an alcohol swab if you choose not to use an alcohol swab and instead wash your hands be sure they are fully dry before you proceed
Step six- dehydrate
Remove natural oils and moisture by using a dehydrator.
Skip this step if you have a naturally dry nail beds.
Step seven- buff it
Use the pink side of your nail file to lightly buff the tops of your nails you’re going to want to leave the white dusty stuff on your nail so the glue has something to grip onto
Step eight - glue it down
Apply 3 to 4 thin coats of glue to your natural nail. It should look glossy.
Use your tube of glue to add a small dot to your dash tab for extra hold
If you are using dash tabs, be sure to fit the tab so it covers your entire natural nail
Pro tip you might need to cut a tab in half so you can cover your natural nail
Step nine- apply press on
Place your 45° angle and slowly lay the dash flat
Step ten - enjoy your at home mani
Lightly press and hold the nail dash for 60 seconds
Do not push hard you only want to put enough pressure to hold the nail dash in place while the glue cures
Be sure to keep your nails dry for the next hour so the glue has time to set up!
And now you can enjoy your at home mani for the next two weeks!
