It wasn't just about losing a few pounds, though that was definitely part of my 'fat glow up' story. It was about feeling amazing from the inside out, especially as I prepped for a vibrant 'Summer Glow Up'. Seeing Tuna's energy and zest for life even inspired me to focus on myself. For anyone looking to achieve their own 'Summer Glow Up', I wanted to share some things that truly helped me. It's not about quick fixes; it's about making sustainable changes that make you feel good. First, let's talk about fueling your body. I started by focusing on whole, unprocessed foods and making sure I was drinking enough water. It wasn't about restricting everything, but finding a balance that worked for me and my lifestyle. Meal prepping on Sundays became my secret weapon – it saved so much time and prevented me from reaching for unhealthy options during busy weekdays. Finding healthy recipes that were actually delicious was a game-changer! Then there’s movement. You don't need to spend hours at the gym to experience a 'fat glow up'. I started small by incorporating daily walks, and slowly introduced some fun at-home workout routines. The key is to find something you *enjoy*! For me, it was dancing and short HIIT sessions. Consistency truly trumps intensity here. Even just 30 minutes of movement a day made a huge difference in my energy levels, mood, and overall physique. Seeing myself get stronger and more capable was such a confidence booster. But a true 'biggest glow up' isn't just physical. Mental well-being is equally, if not more, important. I started journaling to process my thoughts, practiced mindfulness for a few minutes each day, and prioritized getting quality sleep. Reducing stress through things like meditation or simply unwinding with a good book (or by scrolling through cute 'cat Tuna photos'!) has been transformative. It’s about cultivating a positive mindset that supports all your other healthy habits and helps you shine from within. Thinking about my 'Summer Glow Up' guide, I also focused on self-care beyond just diet and exercise. This included finding a skincare routine that worked for me and consistently sticking to it. Little things, like remembering to wear sunscreen daily, make a huge difference in the long run. And don't underestimate the power of feeling good in what you wear!
