I have finally finished this lion pastel artwork. I have a pastel drawing of a mother snow leopard and her cub and I wanted a piece to represent fatherhood too. The lion was an obvious choice due the the male being easy to distinguish from the female and also playing a role in raising his young as protector of his pride. This picture shows an affectionate moment between him and his cub.
