First semester of Nursing school is finished🩺💉

I finished my first semester of nursing school (LVN). Definitely a hard journey for me. I was on the brink of passing, but with GOD I persevered.

Since I finished my first semester I want to give some tips:

- Time management: is very big in nursing school

- use a planner

- study for each class a different way

- don't be afraid to ask questions

- learn your instructors class and how they teach

- BE ON TIME!!

- Don't compare exam scores

- Make a group chat with classmates (be careful)

- STUDY at least a week before your exams

- Do EVERY assignment. Every point counts

And lastly, don't be so hard on yourself. Nursing school is difficult, time consuming, and challenging. Go easy 🩺

On to my next semester!!💕

... Read moreFinishing the first semester of nursing school is a significant milestone, as it sets the foundation for your future in healthcare. Whether you're pursuing a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program or any nursing degree, the journey can be both rewarding and daunting. To ensure your success, it's crucial to maintain a balance between academics and self-care. Effective time management is vital. Develop a daily schedule that prioritizes your studies while allowing for relaxation and social interactions. Consider using digital planners or apps to keep track of assignments and deadlines. Finding the right study method can make a huge difference. Explore different learning styles—visual aids, group discussions, and practice quizzes—to enhance your retention of complex material. Furthermore, don’t underestimate the power of asking questions. Engaging with instructors and fellow students fosters a deeper understanding of the material. Additionally, forming study groups can provide motivation and create a support system, although it’s essential to ensure that the group's focus aligns with your study goals. As you move forward, keep an eye on your exam preparations. Routines that include studying in advance can significantly reduce stress. Remember, every point counts, so tackle each assignment with seriousness. Lastly, be kind to yourself. Each challenge you face is a stepping stone toward achieving your nursing goals, and maintaining a healthy mindset will empower you as you continue your education.
