It also aids in remineralizing enamel that has started to decay, reversing early signs of cavities. A practical and often overlooked method to increase fluoride's effectiveness is to coat your dental floss with fluoride toothpaste before flossing. This technique delivers concentrated fluoride directly between the teeth — a common spot for cavity development due to the difficulty toothbrushes have in reaching these tight spaces. Flossing cleans the interdental areas, and the fluoride toothpaste helps reinforce enamel and protect these vulnerable zones.
