❄️ FINAL STOP — WHITECOURT, ALBERTA ❄️

And here we are — the 25th and final stop on this incredible journey of 25 towns in 2025... just in time for New Year’s Eve!

We wrapped up our adventure in Whitecourt, and let me tell you, this town knows how to make a grand finale. Yesterday, we had an absolute blast snowmobiling with the Whitecourt Trailblazers, exploring gorgeous snowy backcountry trails and feeling like the weather was giving us the perfect send-off.

Today, we’re finishing the journey at Eastlink Park, where families come together for a day of skiing, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and fireworks to ring in the New Year. It’s the perfect ending to a year of exploring Alberta’s hidden gems.

#Whitecourt is a bustling, welcoming town — a place where industry and recreation go hand in hand. There’s always something happening, and the community’s spirit of volunteering and coming together to create fun, family-friendly events is what makes it truly special.

#winterfun #newyearscountdown #snowmobile #ski

As I look back on these 25 towns, I’m incredibly grateful for the journey, the lessons learned, and the amazing people I’ve met along the way. Each town welcomed me with open arms, and I hope this series has shown just how much Alberta’s small communities have to offer. lol

(I'm counting down 25 towns until the final stop on New Year's Eve) Crowsnest Pass surprised me. I went in expecting mountains and mining history… but what I found was a place shaped by resilience. Underground tunnels frozen in time. A mountainside that once wiped out a town. Fo
