... Read moreIf you’re looking for ways to enhance your pork chop dinners, experimenting with marinades can bring a delicious twist to this Parmesan fried pork chop recipe. A simple marinade with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and thyme helps tenderize the meat and add extra flavor. Let the pork chops marinate for at least 30 minutes before breading.
Alternatively, for a healthier twist, you can try baking the pork chops instead of deep frying. After dredging in the panko and Parmesan mixture, place the chops on a wire rack over a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. This method still creates a crispy crust without the extra oil.
For leftover pork chops, slice them thinly and repurpose into sandwiches or salads. Pairing with a creamy garlic aioli or a honey mustard sauce complements the Parmesan flavor wonderfully.
When it comes to seasoning, feel free to adjust the herbs based on your preference. Fresh cilantro adds a bright note, while thyme and parsley provide classic Italian flavors. Garlic salt can be swapped with smoked paprika for a subtle smoky touch.
To complete your meal, consider serving these pork chops alongside healthy sides such as steamed green beans, roasted crispy corn, or a fresh tossed salad. These sides balance the rich crust and make for a wholesome dinner that’s sure to impress your family or guests.
