Pork Steaks in Onion Sauce 🐷🧅

Ingredients:📝

4 pork steaks (loin or chops)

2 large onions

2 garlic cloves

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup white wine

1 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon flour

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Season the steaks with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Browse the steaks on both sides (2-3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter.

Add the thinly sliced ​​onions and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until golden brown.

Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Pour in the white wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to loosen any residue.

Add the chicken broth and thyme. Let it reduce for 5 minutes.

Return the fillets to the pan and cook everything together for another 5-7 minutes.

Adjust the salt and pepper if necessary.

Serve the fillets tossed with the onion sauce.
