Day 2+3 fighting postpartum depression!

6/9 Edited to

... Read moreFrom personal experience, dealing with postpartum depression can feel overwhelming, especially in the first few days after childbirth. What really helped me was focusing on tiny achievements rather than trying to overhaul my entire routine at once. For example, putting on jeans and doing my makeup for the first time made a huge difference in how I perceived myself — it was a small act but it boosted my confidence significantly. Engaging with my children, even in simple play, brought moments of joy and connection, reminding me why recovery was so important. Activities like completing color-by-number projects helped distract my mind from negative thoughts and fostered a sense of accomplishment amidst the struggle. It’s crucial to be gentle with yourself, understanding that healing is neither linear nor immediate. Recognizing and celebrating little wins — whether it’s getting out of bed or changing clothes — can help sustain motivation and gradually rebuild energy and mental strength. This mindset not only nurtures self-compassion but also reinforces the fact that every step forward counts, no matter how small it may seem.
