Travel Diary: Tulum, Mexico

Meet Ham (Hamlet).

Ham was purchased in an airport in Amsterdam when I was traveling to Greece during one of the lowest points of my life. He was adopted to bring me comfort in a time when I felt lost and lonely. I was undiagnosed, unmedicated, and depressed.

Now, years later, Ham is with me on another trip to escape another trying time and to help bring me comfort while outside of my safe place.

Tulum, you have been so lovely and so needed for my mental health.

I feel more ready to return home to continue to push through this trying time and continue job hunting in a horrible market.

To better days ahead!
