double chocolate banana muffins 🍌

ingredients:

1 1/2 very ripe bananas

1 egg

2 tbsp milk

3 tbsp coconut sugar (more if you like sweeter)

3tbs cacao powder

splash of vanilla

1/2 cup gluten-free flour

3/4 cup almond flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp flax seeds

3tbs cacao

1 scoop chocolate protein

1/2 cup greek or skyr yogurt

cinnamon

sea salt

dark chocolate chips

directions:

blend all wet ingredients until smooth.

in a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

add wet to dry and mix gently—don’t over-stir!

divide into 6 muffin cups with liners or greased tins, filling to the top.

sprinkle with chocolate chips.

bake at 325°F for 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

finish with a sprinkle of sea salt. enjoy!
