Im being completely serious when I say that being accused of being AI was more painful than any other comment I got on this journey. AI doesnt have the lived experience to pull from to pull a stunt like this. It didnt spend a month of prep time meticulously going over details to make sure the roll out was flawless. AI doesnt have the years of SPFX makeup application experience and genius eye like my girl Marlena does. It can’t take a photo like Chase, or dream up surrealism like Piper, or build a wig like Dean. AI didnt go up and down 5 flights of steps 8 times carrying over 500 lbs of gear cuz the freight elevator was off after the shoot. AI didnt have to do mental gymnastics every day to both go through with the series and then to stand ten toes down in it while the chaos started to roll in and people started to question my character (which I also think nods to part of the problem).
So when I say- “AI could literally never” I mean it. Human beings have been pulling off feats of excellence long before AI existed and we need to continue to do so. So please, call me fake, tell me I did a shit job, tell you didnt relate to it and you’re no longer a fan. Thats fine. Thats what art is supposed to do. Call me whatever you want, just dont call me late for dinner and DONT call me AI.

It's not just about the technical skill but also about perseverance in face of logistical challenges that AI cannot emulate. Moreover, mental resilience to face criticism while staying committed to one’s vision adds another irreplaceable layer of humanity to creative work. Watching how my peers like Marlena, Chase, Piper, and Dean contribute their unique talents has shown me how deeply creativity is interwoven with human experience. In a world fascinated by AI capabilities, it’s crucial to remember that technology is a tool—not a substitute for human artistry. The distinct creativity, emotional intelligence, and lived experiences of artists shape works that resonate on personal levels. This authenticity encourages connection and inspires others, which AI simply cannot achieve on its own. Ultimately, embracing the human side of creation fosters respect for the effort behind the art. So while criticism and differing opinions are part of the process, dismissing true human contributions as AI-generated undermines the very soul of creative expression. Art is about evoking feelings, telling stories, and sharing perspectives that come from real life—something no AI can genuinely replicate.
