Luteal phase meal idea

When I’m in my luteal phase I loooove being intentional about what I put in and on my body.

I have personally researched best foods for my body during this time of month and have heard great things about spinach, beets, and salmon to help give my body the nutrients it needs during this time.

Delicious combo I hope you try!

You deserve it 🫶🏼

... Read moreDuring the luteal phase, which occurs after ovulation and before your period, your body undergoes hormonal changes, leading to different nutritional needs. Foods that are rich in magnesium, such as spinach, can help reduce PMS symptoms, while beets offer anti-inflammatory benefits and support liver function. Including high-quality proteins like salmon can balance energy levels and stabilize blood sugar, which is especially beneficial during this time. For a refreshing salad, you can create a base with spinach topped with roasted beets and salmon, marinated in teriyaki sauce for added flavor. Garnish with crumbled feta and organic pumpkin seeds for a crunchy texture. Remember to balance your meals with healthy fats, fiber, and protein to maintain steady energy levels throughout your luteal phase. Engaging in meal prep can save time and ensure you have nutritious options ready to enjoy. A well-planned diet can aid in alleviating some discomfort associated with this phase of the menstrual cycle.
