Finally lost 10lbs!

I’ve been on this journey since Jan 1st and reached my first 10lb loss!🙌🏻 My goal is 140lbs. I’ve been to this weight before years ago. After getting up to 200lbs with my first pregnancy, I worked hard and got down to 135lbs! I gained most of it back since having a mentally abusive ex who made me feel awful for working so hard to feel my best. I had my 2nd child in 2022, with my new husband and he’s been an absolute gem with my weigh loss! He helps me and doesn’t make me feel guilty about what I’m doing.

As we get older, our bodies change, and some things just don’t connect like they used to. This peptide journey has been absolutely amazing for me! Better mood, no more inflammation, hair growth, skin looks better, and the bonus in my eyes is the weight loss!

Over the years it’s been a massive mental game for me to get back into the groove, since for so long it made someone else feel crappy about himself, he made me feel bad about it too! But not anymore!! I’m back in control and feeling like a normal person again. Instead of being stuck in a fog each day and being a zombie getting through each day. I have more energy and can be the mom and wife I need to be for my family!

From my experience, especially after struggling with emotional abuse, the mindset shift was crucial. When you’re supporting yourself with positive influences, like a supportive partner, and treatments such as peptides that help reduce inflammation and promote hair and skin health, the process becomes much more achievable and uplifting. Peptides work by stimulating your body’s natural processes, boosting metabolism, and calming inflammatory responses, which can often hinder weight loss. Combining this with a consistent routine and self-care gave me steady progress toward my goal of 140lbs. Something I found essential was patience and kindness toward myself. Weight fluctuations happen, especially after pregnancy and life’s challenges, but every small victory counts. Seeing the numbers drop from 163lbs to 153lbs (and continuing) was motivating, but feeling more energetic and clear-headed was even better. If you’re healing from past emotional struggles, know it’s okay to set boundaries and lean on those who genuinely support your well-being. And when it comes to weight loss, finding holistic approaches that refresh not only your body but also your mind makes the journey truly rewarding. Sharing these experiences openly encourages others; healing and weight loss are possible, and the grass really is greener on the other side.
