When the real problem is internal,

When the real problem is not the event, but the internal reaction.

Many people have spent their whole lives trying to deal with "external things."

Avoid some people.

Trying to change the situation.

Solve the relationship problem.

Change jobs, change addresses, or even change lifestyles.

These may temporarily help ease up, but before long, the same suffering often backfires.

Because what triggers suffering is not only the events in front of it, but the inner reaction that has never been understood and solved.

Many times, just seeing the same person's face, hearing the same name, walking through the same place, or even thinking about past events, the heart can go back to pain, fear, anger, resentment, sadness, or isolation, when in fact everything has changed.

Time flies.

People change.

The place changed.

Even ourselves are not the same person anymore.

We are not little children who have no choice, no power, or cannot defend themselves like in the past.

But our internal systems also respond as if that event were happening today.

This is why many life problems are characterized as "choppy" according to the events that come to trigger it.

If we try to deal with the outside, life will run after the lights at a time, never extinguishing the source of the fire inside.

The real change therefore begins by turning back and studying one's own mind.

Learn to observe the feelings, thoughts, memories and reactions that occur, without rushing to relegate, without rushing to correct, and without rushing to blame external things.

As we see it clearer, we can begin to distinguish

"What is happening in the mind" is not "the reality that is happening right in front of it."

Such awareness does not erase the past, does not make memories disappear, but makes us no longer have to live under the control of the past.

The deepest remedy is not to make the outside world unmotivated.

It is the development of the ability to live with that stimulus without being pulled back to the same person who suffered.

Because when the inner knot unfolds, no matter how the outside world changes, our hearts remain free.
