Taking on the role of Dr. Drummond in The Unkept Secret has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. Transitioning from everyday life to acting required me to embrace a new mindset, learning to convey complex emotions authentically. The character of Dr. Drummond, a therapist, allowed me to explore themes of healing and understanding, which are so relevant today. The production team, including Storybook Entertainment, created a supportive environment that made the filming process enjoyable and insightful. Filming for a movie that will be released on Tubi has given me perspective on how digital streaming platforms are transforming the way audiences access fresh, compelling stories. As someone new to acting, I found it essential to research the role thoroughly, studying therapeutic practices to portray Dr. Drummond convincingly. This preparation enabled me to bring depth to the character, capturing the nuanced interactions between a therapist and those seeking help. I’m excited for viewers to see The Unkept Secret soon and experience this story that blends drama with real-life challenges. Whether you’re passionate about mental health or simply enjoy a well-crafted movie, this film offers something valuable.
