Day 3 Injections- Menopur & Gonal

Day 3 of injections. I slept pretty well last night even though I had some achenes on the right ovary. It subsided through the night. My menstrual started this morning. Doctor said it’s fine even though it was supposed to have started Day 0 after taking the birth control. The only side effect I’ve been experiencing is headaches. Tylenol or ibuprofen works so I’ve been trying to just push through it. Hubby has been home sick this week so it’s been nice having him for support. 3 days down 8 more days to go!

Day 7 - Morning IVF injection & Office Visit

Today’s office visit went well. I went in for labs and ultrasound to monitor how my follicles are developing and to monitor hormones for adjustment of my Menopur & Gonal injections. I’ll hear back from the doctor this afternoon. The doctor was really happy with the fact that I have 35 follicles

Mid work meeting, I received a call from the doctor. Day 5 labs are back. Doctor said my estrogen is over 1000, typically they advise Cetrotide at 250. She said there’s nothing to be worried about but that I should take the Cetrotide ASAP to keep follicles from ovulating. So starting today it’ll be

Day 7 Nightly IVF Injections

We’re half way there! Labs are back, estrogen is just over 1700. Doctor reduced my Gonal dosage from 150 UI to 75 UI for the next couple days. I go back to the doctor Friday for another office visit. Chef hubby is cooking me dinner tonight and we’re watching my favorite comfort show The Office lol.
