... Read moreBinge eating can often be a coping mechanism for stress or boredom. If you find yourself reaching for food when you’re feeling bored, it might be a sign to explore new activities or hobbies. Engaging in mindfulness practices can also help; consider journaling or practicing yoga to manage cravings effectively. Incorporating smaller portions into your meals can create a better relationship with food. Think about meal prep; having healthy snacks readily available can keep you from binging. Focus on balanced meals that include proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of fruits and vegetables to nourish your body. Moreover, consider the importance of sleep. A consistent sleep schedule not only helps regulate your hunger hormones but also improves your overall well-being. If sleeping at a regular time feels difficult, try setting up a relaxing bedtime routine to wind down each night. Additionally, don’t hesitate to reach out for support. Whether it’s through friends, family, or professional help, talking about your challenges with binge eating can be a significant step toward overcoming it. Remember, you're not alone on this journey and finding a supportive community can make all the difference.

These tips really help, one that also works for me is when i begin to eat or snack, i pause for a few minutes to see if i feel discomfort or if i actually feel the need to eat something, it helps me realize im not actually hungry and just bored so i look for something to pass the time
