📚 February reading stats 📚

February was another a good month for reading! I’ve been going through some family grief, so this month I deactivated all of my personal social media. This reduced my screen time by a ton and increased how much time I had to read. Reading has been my escape this month. For context I am a full time graduate student and work a full-time office job. However, I also have no kids, so reading is able to be more of a priority for me!

... Read moreFebruary is often a month of reflection and growth, especially for avid readers. This month, I explored various genres ranging from thrillers and mysteries to contemporary fiction and young adult novels. With a total of 17 books read, averaging 405 pages, my most significant escape came through a variety of narratives and captivating characters. I noticed that my average rating for all the books read was a commendable 4.24, indicating a month filled with well-written stories. Notably, thrillers and contemporary fiction took up 94% of my reading, showcasing my preference for gripping and immersive tales. Not only did I explore highly rated books, but I also made a point to diversify my experience by listening to audiobooks, which accounted for 35% of my reading material. This variety enriched my reading stats and opened up new storytelling formats that I immensely enjoyed. Engaging with the Lemon8 community through the #lemon8bookclub and #lemon8challenge hashtags has been invaluable, allowing readers to share insights and recommendations. If you’re looking to track your reading progress or join a vibrant community of book lovers, these hashtags are perfect. Additionally, many readers find that seasonal challenges enhance their reading experience. As I look towards future months, my goal is to continue prioritizing reading by setting aside time each day to dive into new books. Tips from fellow readers inspire me to explore genres I usually wouldn’t, and I hope to encourage others to join in this enriching journey. Have a delightful reading experience!
