Strawberry Sensation Ice Cream

Ingredients:

For the Strawberry Mixture:

• 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar

• 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Ice Cream Base:

• 2 cups heavy cream

• 1 cup whole milk

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar

• 1 tbsp vanilla extract

• Pinch of salt

Directions:

1. Prepare the Strawberry Mixture:

- In a medium bowl, mix the sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and lemon juice.

- Let it sit for 30 minutes until strawberries release juices and sugar dissolves.

2. Make the Ice Cream Base:

- Whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, 3/4 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until sugar dissolves.

3. Combine the Mixtures:

- Pour strawberry mixture into the ice cream base and mix well.

4. Chill and Freeze:

- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

5. Churn the Ice Cream:

- Pour chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for 25-30 minutes.

6. Freeze Again:
