Whole foods are unprocessed or minimally processed, retaining their natural nutrients. To start, consider incorporating a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables into your meals. Not only do they provide essential vitamins, but they also add vibrant flavors to your dishes. For example, mixing fresh strawberries and grapes with cottage cheese not only creates a nutritious snack but also keeps it visually appealing. Proteins like ground beef, shrimp, and eggs offer significant health benefits. Ground beef paired with sweet potatoes and spinach can be a filling and nutritious meal option. Similarly, shrimp Caesar salad is a tasty way to enjoy lean protein while indulging in greens. Don't forget about healthy fats! Ingredients such as avocados and olive oil are great for heart health. Homemade tortillas paired with homemade guacamole can make for a fun and healthy addition to your meals. Lastly, creativity in the kitchen is key! Trying to make pancakes with minimally processed ingredients like mashed bananas and eggs is a delightful way to enjoy a classic and healthier breakfast. Remember, the journey to healthy eating is about making informed choices and enjoying the process of cooking and eating whole foods.

If you liked the sweet potato I recommend doing a sweet potato bowl. You cut the sweet potatoes just like you did in slide 7 and top it with ground beef, diced tomatoes, sliced or diced avocados and shredded cheese. It’s so good and is one of my favorite things to have for dinner. You can also cube the sweet potato’s if you prefer to, either way it’s good
