Salted Maple Pie 🥧
Pie Crust
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup cold butter
• 1/4 cup cold water
Filling
• 1/2 cup melted butter
• 1 cup maple syrup
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup cornmeal
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 3 eggs
• 3/4 cup heavy cream
Steps
1. Mix flour, sugar, salt. Cut in butter, add water until dough forms.
2. Roll out, transfer to 9-inch dish, crimp, prick, chill 30 min.
3. Whisk butter + maple syrup, then remaining ingredients.
4. Pour into crust.
5. Bake 350°F for 65 min.
6. Cool + chill 2 hours.
7. Finish with flaky salt + macadamia nuts.
